Emily Blue is Constantly evolving.

In November of 2016, Blue released her first solo record "Another Angry Woman," a completely nonprofit album that tackles womanhood and rape culture. Her vulnerable, yet strongly crafted lyrics combine with her dynamic vocals to create a truly memorable record, featured in Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, Atwood Magazine, NPR Illinois, among others (see PRESS).

Blue was also invited in July of 2016 to perform at El Rey Theater (Los Angeles) for the celebration of Hulu's new documentary "8 Days a Week." There, she shared the stage with artists like Grammy award winner Gabby Moreno and renowned guitarist Adrien Belew. Blue herself appeared on the preliminary Grammy Ballot this year for her feature on Ira Antelis / Dr. Dexter's "Gone But Not Complete" album, which also features Chicago's Saba and Joey Purp.

In addition to her budding solo career, she fronts Chicago/Champaign bands Tara Terra and BOYCUT, two very prolific Indie groups.

Emily's catchy dual single "Blackberries // Rico Acid" came out this March, and can be streamed on Soundcloud and Spotify. She's got some incredible plans for 2017, including a Tara Terra record "Where's Your Light?" coming out 5/31 at Empty Bottle.
